Hourly Rates Range: $15.00/hr - $17.00 based on experience

Having short 4, 6, and 8 hour shifts available during the week and weekend. We can share what we have available during the Recruitment call with our Recruiter. 

We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services for our clients on a Part Time to Full Time schedule!

Schedule: Part Time/Full Time opportunities available - 1st/2nd and Weekends

Responsibilities

  • Provide health care services in patients residences
  • Perform domestic and household tasks
  • Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
  • Assist with clients personal care activities
  • Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
  • Maintain patients care records and document provided services
  • Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
  • Collect routine specimens
  • Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

Skills

  • Proven working experience as home health aide
  • Ability to monitor vital signs
  • Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
  • Proficiency in English
  • Nursing and health care administration skills
  • Caring and compassionate personality
  • Current CPR certificate
  • First Aid training
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school degree

Responsibilities:

  • Providing care as directed by a Director of Nursing, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary

Requirements:

  • A current, C.NA state certification in the State of North Carolina and in good standing
  • A unlicensed Home Health Aide/Personal Care Attendant and in good standing
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified CPR with American Heart Association and Red Cross and negative TB skin test within 1 yr or chest x-ray within 5 yrs
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented experience is required
  • Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile
  • Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
